A NEW Revolutionizing Method to Wean Foals!

To achieve best weaning results, our product should be applied with proper preparation and age appropriate timing.

Proper preparation includes providing a clean and safe environment (free of metal, wire, and other debris) for the mother and foal. Water is to be made available at all times for the animals. A regular feeding schedule should be maintained, include mineral supplements if needed. Animals should be checked routinely for safety reasons.

The foal is to be healthy and of an appropriate age. Typically the older and mature the animal, the more aggressive and insistent their personality has become for nursing. The length of time required for the weaning process varies for each animal, typically six weeks. After approximately two weeks the mother's bag will start to dry up. The EZEE WEAN halter and strap will keep the foal from gravitating to another mother.

Applying Instructions

Strap is designed to fit halters that have 5/8", ¾", or 1" noseband. The halter is to be of a breakaway style with an adjustable mussel.

• Open strap flat.
• Slide nose band of halter onto halter strap.
• Wrap bottom flap of halter strap around the noseband, flat.
• Prong flap is to be pressed over and down firmly on top of Lower flap, with prongs protruding outward.
• Press strap firmly together, meshing hook and loop.
• When applying halter to your young animal, the noseband should fit snug and below the jaw line.
